2023 Precise Saint-Émilion with Burgundian Finesse

Terroir & Character · Old Vines, Living Sands
Rooted in Saint-Émilion’s sandy soils—valued for their natural drainage and warmth—the vineyard is planted mainly with vines over 60 years old. All grapes are harvested by hand.
Grape Varieties · A Merlot Heart, Framed by Cabernet Franc
Merlot forms the core of the blend, supported by Cabernet Franc. Together, they reveal the finesse, depth, and quiet power of this remarkable terroir through balance and natural elegance.
Grape varieties: 70% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc Alcohol: 14% vol
Vinification & Precision · Gravity, Patience, and Quiet Craft
Following meticulous destemming and selection, the grapes flow by gravity into 600-liter oak barrels and egg-shaped fermenters. Using gentle hand punch-downs over 6 to 10 days, followed by 3 to 4 weeks of maceration. Ageing takes place over 12 to 16 months in 600-liter and 225-liter French oak barrels.
Inspired by Burgundy philosophy, the use of large 600-liter barrels creates a distinctive path between Bordeaux and Burgundy, enhancing purity, layered complexity, and refined elegance.
      • LA PETITE NAUVE ROUGE 2019

A Refined and Youthful Expression of Saint-Émilion

Terroir & Character · A Young, Elegant Expression
La Petite Nauve 2019 offers a lighter, approachable expression of Saint-Émilion Grand Cru. Sourced from carefully selected plots of limestone, sand, and clay, Merlot and Cabernet Franc gain bright fruit and natural balance. As the “younger brother” of La Nauve, it keeps the estate’s finesse while adding freshness and charm.

Craft & Precision · Gentle, Controlled Winemaking
After early-October harvesting, the grapes undergo cold maceration, followed by a gentle three-week fermentation at 22°C with pump-overs and délestage. A 12–14-month ageing in French oak—70% new—brings structure, depth, and refinement.

Grape Varieties: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc
        Alcohol: 14% vol
